COURSE DESCRIPTION: This diesel truck or commercial vehicle electrical training class for diesel technicians, will cover DC Circuit Definitions, Essentials of DC Diagnostics, Fault Definitions, Schematic Reading, Circuit Components, Meter Reading, Electronic Systems, Circuit Building and more. Finally, each Student will take hands on fault exercise and after completing this class, the Technician will be able to successfully test Relays and Individual Circuits. know how to correctly read a Volt, Ohms, and Amp Meter, understand the importance of Circuit Voltage Drop, interpret wire Schematics, diagnose CAN Bus systems, Multiplexing, Sensors, Diodes, relays, Solenoids, learn Fault Definitions, the Psychology of doing it right and much more. In addition, all testing equipment, circuit boards and materials are provided.

GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION:

  • Classes are 4 days | Tues-Thurs 8am-5pm | Friday 8am-12pm
  • Included hotel stay, lunch, and TRITECH provided equipment

WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Laptop: Diagnostic laptops will be provided. However, we encourage students to bring their own
  • Safety: Eye & ear protection, safety masks and gloves will be provided. Steel toe shoes and long pants required
  • Meals: Lunch and drinks will be provided daily. Additionally, the Hotel provides breakfast every morning from 7am-9am
  • Hotel: Hotel room for Student attending training class Monday- Thursday nights

LOCATION: ETT Training Center

TRITECH Expert Technician Training Center is in New Braunfels, TX, while the San Antonio, TX airport (SAT) is 35.5 miles from training center and the Austin, TX airport (AUS) is 47 miles from ETT training center. Please plan on arriving the Monday prior to class starting on Tuesday and departing Fridays 3:00pm or after.
