COURSE DESCRIPTION: This PACCAR MX Engine training class is designed to provide the skills needed to overhaul, inspect, repair, maintain or replace all components on the PACCAR MX13 EPA13-17, leading into the EPA21 models as well. Hotel & Lunch are Included

COURSE OBJECTIVES: After completing this PACCAR MX Engine training class, the Technician will be able to perform maintenance and repairs on the gear train, valve and injector set, injection pump inspection and replacement of mechanical items associated with the PACCAR MX13 engine. Understanding the difference between EPA 10, 13, 17 and 21 engine models.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After completing this class, the Technician will be able to demonstrate the use of the PACCAR DAVIE diagnostic tool, troubleshooting and repair procedures for the Aftertreatment, Sensors, Electronic Controls and other repairs associated with the PACCAR MX engine.

LOCATION: ETT Training Center

TRITECH Expert Technician Training Center is in New Braunfels, TX, while the San Antonio, TX airport (SAT) is 35.5 miles from training center and the Austin, TX airport (AUS) is 47 miles from ETT training center. Please plan on arriving the Monday prior to class starting on Tuesday and departing Fridays 3:00pm or after.

New Braunfels is Centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is best known for the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, great food, live music and the nearby Gruene Historic District.

Technicians must bring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety shoes, eye protection and ear protection. All safety procedures and warnings must be followed. High pressure fuel and temperature warning. Exposure to rotating components. Always watch out for each other and if see any liquid spills, please clean up immediately.
