By its conclusion, technicians will possess a robust understanding of the DETROIT DDDL diagnostic tool, the DTNA system, and be able to troubleshoot and repair procedures for various elements of the DETROIT DD13-16 engine. In this Detroit DD15 engine training class, students will be instructed in theory and hands-on operation for troubleshooting of the Detroit Engine Control Systems, Aftertreatment Systems, Fuel Systems and repair procedures on the DETROIT DD15 and DD13-16 Engine family. Hotel & Lunch are Included.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After completing this Detroit DD15 engine training class, Technicians will be able to demonstrate the use of the Detroit DDDL diagnostic tool, troubleshooting and repair procedures for the Aftertreatment, Sensors, Fuel, Electronic Control systems and other repairs associated with the Detroit DD15 or DD13-16 engine family.

LOCATION: ETT Training Center

TRITECH Expert Technician Training Center is in New Braunfels, TX, while the San Antonio, TX airport (SAT) is 35.5 miles from training center and the Austin, TX airport (AUS) is 47 miles from ETT training center. Please plan on arriving the Monday prior to class starting on Tuesday and departing Fridays 3:00pm or after.

New Braunfels is Centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is best known for the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, great food, live music and the nearby Gruene Historic District.

Technicians must bring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety shoes, eye protection and ear protection. All safety procedures and warnings must be followed. High pressure fuel and temperature warning. Exposure to rotating components. Always watch out for each other and if see any liquid spills, please clean up immediately.
